What Is the Difference Between Cp, Cpk, Pp, and Ppk?

Cp and Cpk describe short-term, within-subgroup process capability assuming stability. Pp and Ppk describe overall, long-term performance using all observed variation. Cp and Pp ignore centering; Cpk and Ppk penalize an off-center process.
